Artist History Separately, Jim, Jonnie, Bobby & Jeff had noticed a "void" in the music scene of late. Feeling very few of the bands recognized as being superior by today's standards were significantly different or even distinguishable from one another, it seemed obvious that someone would have to once again "break the mold" and raise the current standard. Each began to look for the perfect line-up to form The Band that would fill that "void" and provide a new direction for music and its listeners. After extensive searching, meetings, auditioning, and through the unshakable bond born of blood ties, the four were brought together and were thus poised on the brink of a new beginning. On June 3rd 2002 everything came together as the members of DREXX finished their first rehearsal together. Even before the last notes had completely faded, a simple look around the room revealed what everyone had heard and was thinking. When the diverse musical tastes present had been combined, it developed into something undeniably special. The sound was truly unique while maintaining a haunting familiarity. They quickly moved forward, writing a collection of songs that have depth, passion, precision, and melodies that are both instantly accessible and memorable. DREXX's music will capture your attention and maintain your interest as it moves through the ebb and swell of its dynamic content. DREXX has a CD available containing three songs that will leave you wanting more, and they are currently finishing a full length CD. This music will no doubt be a "welcome relief from the ordinary" to music fans of all types once it is heard. Listeners will be further rewarded at live shows as the songs are performed with a palpable energy emanating from the band. It sweeps down from the stage and transports the audience and band alike to a place where they are all actually "Living in the Moment."
