Artist description
Verb...nothing needs to be said after that. Ask anyone involved in hip-hop in the Detroit area. They'll tell you Verbal is a godsend to the scene. Excelling in battle built up his reputation as the most dominate battle MC in Detroit. His battle record doesn't end at every nobody rapper in the area but bridges on the Detroit's commercially signed elite. He boasts, "Though no names will be said, I can tell you there is "Proof" to my claims". But battle isn't his only strong point. Verbal doesn't write "raps", he makes music...and music is ART. |

Verbal's reputation began with his battling ability where he at one point lived off the money he made winning battle competitions as his sole income. After winning 97.1fm's Kramer & Twitch Show's "Best Rapper in Michigan" battle competition he went on to drop some of the hottest mixtape material the world has ever heard and was also featured in the hip-hop video "Detroit vs Cleveland" alongside Obie Trice, Lord Jazz, and MC Brainz. |
