Artist description
Rochambeaux combines dark and powerful music with the refined vocal texture of
Schneider's unique melodies, and self-sung harmonies. Brooding power chords combine
with occasional lighter keyboards and thundering rhythm section to form compositions worthy of
multiple listens. Drawing from multiple influences, Schneider and Boyd continue to create
unique and varied music with something for any musical taste. |

Artist History
Vocalist/Guitarist Paul Schneider and Guitarist/Drummer Wayne Boyd have been friends since childhood and
started playing music together when they were 13. Since that time Paul and Wayne have recorded many songs
through the years, continually developing a sound that has evolved into Rochambeaux.
Initially Paul only sang and Wayne only played the piano and drums. The two often collaborated
with other friends who played the guitar. In 1995 Wayne joined a Phoenix band
called The Lollies and played the drums. Paul too later joined the band
in 1998 for a short time until the group broke up later that summer.
Rochambeaux started as a side project to The Lollies. With the demise of the
Lollies, Rochambeaux has become a full-fledged recording project, continuing a
song writing and recording tradition started over a decade earlier.
Currently Rochambeaux records and produces songs in Wayne's home studio in Yuma, Arizona.
Because both Paul and Wayne assume multiple roles in the band, they have not yet been
able to play live, however hope to do so in the future. |
