Artist description The story of Nicotine Death starts somewhere in early 2001, when a couple of drunk kids in a bar decide to start thier own hardcore punk band. We were thinking of a name, a we came up with a bunch of names like Negative Influence, Braindead, BNI, and some other names who were even lamer. Anyway, we couldn't find a name every was contended with until suddenly some guy was going to hit another guy in the nuts and someone yelled, protect your balls! Than we knew what our band name was going to be: Protect Your Balls. A problem occured, we didn't have a drummer so nothing really happened with the band. Then our singer Ken left the band and the name was changed to P.Y.B. which meant the same. Again we didn't have drummer and the band became nothing more than a drunk joke. Members, ex-members and friends did got known as the PYB-Crew, so fortunely that did stuck, and it is from this crew that in September 2002, a new band emerges: Nicotine Death. A threesome featuring original Protect Your Balls guitarists, Flip and Bart and longtime friend and founding PYB Crew member Bert on drums. Now with the first time ever with a drummer Nicotine Death are ready to conquer the world, or at least the nearest cigarette vending machine. So here we are, Nicotine Death.
