Artist History Nick started out in a high school band called Inersha. The band reformed as "Surreal" when Nick left to go to school in Virginia. When Nick came back to Massachusetts he opened up for Surreal a few times with his friend Jon Whynock. They ended up becoming Calm Surrender and recorded their own CD. Nick is still the lead singer of Calm Surrender, but wanted to try something different for a solo album.
