Artist History
Broken Record started on April 27, 2002 with John Young, Derrek Siemieniuk, Matt Siemieniuk, and Will Hackford as the lineup. On June 14, 2002, Will Hackford was kicked out of the band because he was suspected of not taking the band seriously and talking about it behind the other members' backs. In July of 2002, Ryan Sweet was accepted into the band as a replacement for Will in the rhythms guitar position. In this time period, Broken Record started getting attention by playing shows. In August 2002, however, Ryan Sweet left Broken Record to start a "band" called Just Another Mistake (or Just Another Trend as some people call them). After this move, Broken Record was once again a punk trio hoping to bring true punk back from the dead. The current lineup is John Young (bass/vocals), Derrek (guitar/vocals), and Matt (drums/back-up vocals). |
