Artist History
In his early years he loved to make strange noise using various objects and so he began to experimentally play with tape decks. Being aware of his addiction to sound, his parents bought a keyboard for a birthday present, but after a short while he got bored due to its limited sound capabilities. When he was fifteen in 94, he looked for a job to earn the money needed to buy his first synthesizer. 2 years later he couldn’t help being interested in a deejays work, and he got his music plant extended by dj equipment. This has been the point where a hobby turned into passion. One day in fall 97, he went to the promenade near the lake of zurich with a friend and the whole mixing setup, and they started to play. The ones hanging around there had pleasure, and so this session was to be continued. In 99 he got invited to the radio station drsIII to present his set to a larger audience - an occasion to get lots of important connections to other people involved in the scene. He started to create tracks with Tekjam, which have not been released yet. In the end of 00 he set up the project Augmented Reality featuring Mark A. Brook and Gee Large which resulted in the release of a tune on the '4 years rohstofflager'-CD. Arian Cerddor played in various clubs in switzerland and is resident at rohstofflager zurich. |
