Artist description The Year Of Change The past twelve months have zipped by quicker than a mozzie on a moped. No-one's going to claim its been plain sailing - far from it. Who could have predicted what a turbulant year lay ahead this time last year? We've witnessed great independent labels fold, record shops go under, superclubs close and dancefloors suffer. But 2002 should not go down in dance music's history as a write-off. It should go down as the year of change, the year everyone was forced to think and try that little bit harder instead of enjoying the often easy ride dance music has afforded them over the past few years - and thats been a good thing. The dance scene is not terminally ill; its just had a bit of a cold. Hopefully We've turned a corner and we'll see those new, fresh and innovative ideas develop into a further regenerated and re-energised scene as the next twelve months unfold. To say 2002 has all been doom and gloom would be a lie. We've had some great times, enjoyed some fantastic parties, danced to some incredible tunes and marveled at the developments in Djing technology.
