Artist description
Tom Saloka MCT (Mangler of Classic Tunes).
Forgive me Father, for I have Sang.
To sing is so natural that many can not conceive of it not being part of one's life. However, it is amazing how the natural act of expression through voice can be so foreign and harmful when wielded by one unskilled in its ways. Please understand that those like me lacking the biological capacity to vocalize mean no harm, it just happens. Put simply, I don't hate music -- it just sounds that way.
Attempts at categorizing my singing have different degrees of success because something so awful is beyond the capacity of most to verbalize. Perhaps you will agree with the characterization of a "drive-by" approach, my voice an untraceable Uzi. Or vocal graffiti, if you will. The studio is a highway overpass--my voice, the spray paint. And, using paint filled with the pigment of bad phrasing and intonation, I create paint-by-wrong-number masterpieces. Whatever the words, if they even exist, they can never adequately prepare you for the real thing.
With a singing voice that defies categorization without profanity, I generously offer you my take on the classics.
