Artist History
When vocalist Sharlynn Verner relocated from her hometown in Western Pennsylvania to the island of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, little did she know that she would meet somebody to help her amazing voice be heard. Verner and Kansas City based producer/songwriter/guitarist David Cecil met at the Contemporary Music Center, an exclusive artists' colony for musicians. While studying songwriting, record production and performance, the two discovered that Cecil's songs and production style were the perfect vehicles for Verner's expressive vocals. Cecil got his start with the band Array, for whom he wrote and produced their album 'Dance in the Rain.' Now, armed with a new vision and Verner's voice, he is ready to be heard again. Verner is planning on joining Cecil in Kansas City in May to pursue music full-time. |
