Artist description Stardust Records of Nashville artist Joanna Allen is an entertainer beyond her years. She yodels in many different styles including the very fast yodels made popular by Margo Smith, the Tennessee Yodeler. Joanna just turned 12 years old. Her debut CD "What's Not to Love" was released when she was 11. It was recorded by Dick McVey (Moonlight Studios) in Nashville.

Artist History Joanna learned to yodel after hearing Margo Smith perform at Dollywood. She has had the privilege of working with Janet McBride, one of the nation's top yodelers and a great influence on young talent. Joanna performs regularly throughout Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. She was the 2002 Overall Winner of the Kentucky Opry talent contest (all age divisions), the only other child under 12 to ever win this except for Jessica Andrews. Two cuts from Joanna's CD are being released internationally on the Stardust label. Joanna is also well known for her impersonation of Grand Ole Opry legend "Cousin" Minnie Pearl.
