Artist History The band started out in 1998, after Luke and Robin organized a get together at Luke’s house. The people that went were Luke, Robin, Rhys, and a boy called Dyfed! Dyfed was a very annoying boy so he was out straight away. We were then left with two guitarist and a singer. This carried on for a while until Robin figured out how to play bass guitar, and he got rather good and bought a bass, but they are still left without a drummer. They started to write songs( which they are proud of) and then came across a drummer called Luke, so they had two Luke’s in the band, confusing!! So there we are, Greyflud.

Press Reviews Greyflud, four young lads from Porthmadog, had the tough job of going on first, but charm, original music, and pure energy soon brought the punters to the front. Here’s a band with an enormous amount of potential, some great tunes, and really confident air. I hope we’ll hear a lot more from them in the future, but for this comp the lads had the distinct disadvantage of being the youngest in the competition.
