Artist description
Deleted displays a ferocious mix of alternative and thrash metal. With roots from the late-'90s metal bands, Deleted is ready to fuse the loud, crushing intensity of nu-metal with the cold harshness of aggressive riffs, and striking vocals producing a more varied groove palette of distinctive melodies and lyrics which express their angry and forcefully driven view of modern techno society.

Artist History
The idea of forming Deleted first ringed on Emir Erkal's head. Only thing he had was his hope and one of his close friends from the college years. It wasn't so hard to bring his dream into real life for a person like Emir with a huge musical background and three albums back in his musical career. He performed in Ascraeus -one of the best metal bands in Turkey ever- from 1993 to 2000 as the founder, music and lyric writer and guitar player; and proudly recorded three albums and gave many shows. Ascraeus sold more than 10,000 copies in Turkey. They opened for the only Overkill show in Istanbul in 1999. Since Emir knew that he had boundaries in Turkey while making his music, he left his band and came to U.S.A. with this extreme passion for spreading his music and playing out to the entire world.
Emre Ilgin is a long time friend of Emir's from Istanbul since 1994. They accomplished many shows together for four years. There had been a musical share but they played in different bands. However Emre's musical dreams were ruined by his old band members and ended very quickly. Eventually he had the opportunity to play in Deleted with his old time friend.
Guy Caruso was born in New Jersey but then he moved to Denver, CO when he was a teenager. He played in several different hardcore bands over there but he couldn't find what he was looking for. He returned back to Jersey five years ago. He always thought of playing with the right people who would share his goal and spirit inside. And his phenomenon came true with Deleted. "When we talk about music or play together, I know where they wanna go in a common sense and what they mean, cos' it's exactly what I would think!" expresses Guy his being in Deleted.
Tom Galambos has been playing out in a couple of different bands for a long time before he decided to be in Deleted. Rail Road Lane was the most important one of them. Even if he was a very dedicated musician he didn't have anybody around him as dedicated as him. So he took his place in Deleted with the other dedicated members.
In December 2002, Deleted recorded 2 songs: "My Disturbed Girlfriend" and "Redrum", and since then has made many shows around NJ and NY areas and received very good responses from several Metal Fanzines, music web sites and college radio stations. WSOU -the biggest college radio station in NJ- played "My Disturbed Girlfriend" for the first time on June 11, 2003 and still playing it.
In July 2003, Deleted separated their ways with Tom and started looking for a new drummer. And the new spirit and energy came along with Jorge Rodriguez in September. Jorge is a fast spiritual machine with years of experience on the drums and Deleted has already started working on the new material with this new spirit, energy and vibe.
"Don't be deleted, but just delete everything that you hate!" screams Emir with a nonstop passion to reach everybody out there.
