Artist History CLASS-ONE was the most unplanned, disasterous, unstructered brainstorm of David Privetts, Nathaniel Claiborne, and Steven Johnson, all of which have played together off and on and once in a while in between since 1998 with plans of making something of it but just not ever pulling it off. But in Christmas of 2000 David was printing up a cd insert for the front of a burned mix CD (compiled of songs by other bands) and just wrote on the front cover, CLASS-ONE. When Steven left town for Christmas David gave him the mix CD and when Steven came back he made a comment of how he liked the name David put on the insert. Not thinking anything of it they blew the name off but always kept it in the back of their minds. Come November of 2001 David suggested recording a Christmas album thinking that it would be fun just to put something out like that especially since Christmas music has always been something very special to David. So that Christmas David, Steven, and Nathaniel dove in and completed a very fun and inspirational Christmas album. They had no clue what name to put the album out under so David suggested CLASS-ONE and Steven agreed, Nathaniel didn't have much input on it because he didn't have much to say about it. So they released their first album "Reasons and Seasons" under the name CLASS-ONE. Well, the next year they didn't do too much and they didn't do anything with the name. But when Christmas of 2002 rolled around Steven and Nathaniel (David was in NY gone away to school) put their thinking caps together and brainstormed up an all new Chrsitmas album "Reasons and Seasons Volume 2: The Year I Got Socks". Chock full of creative punk and rock tunes, 6 original and 3 (2 combined) Christmas favorite classics. Playing a few shows here and there and just enjoying the Christmas spirit through music, Steven and Nathaniel reunited with David, and Graham and Stevie joined the band-wagon to create the perfect Christmas time band, CLASS-ONE.
