Artist History
breams consists of Jeremy Tweddle in music and lyrics. He has been writing since the age of 14 and has just started releasing his original recorded material.
Hailing from Perth, Australia, Jeremy has been playing and writing in numerous bands since his high school days. In the years since he has been enjoying a somewhat nomadic lifestyle and working his way around the UK. Upon returning home to Australia, Jeremy decided to opt out of the band-seeking market, and join the exclusive club (now numbering millions) of singer/songwriters.
Most of Jeremy's songs are acoustic guitar based, with elements of folk, 60's pop, indie and sad-bastard music thrown in to the mix. He was brought up on the harmonies of the Beatles and Beach Boys, but has a love of all things melodious and different. There have been a number of instances of similarities drawn to Elliott Smith and Darren Gough of Badly Drawn Boy.
Jeremy has recorded two CD's to date. The first was a demo (mainly for promotion and free distribution) entitled No Name #1 (2000) and the second an EP of new songs called The Benefit Of Hindsight EP (2002). Both of these releases were recorded by Jeremy at home on a 4-track and other equipment. Both are also still available for purchase. There are plans in the not to distant future for Jeremy to get into a studio and record an album for release in Australia and the UK. |
