    Artist description
We are a bunch of guys who wished we could have made a life in music but had to get real jobs instead. We started writing our own songs and were happy to find out that they were not that bad.... We are very pleased to add two new members to the group. Both are exceptional vocalists and I hope that we can keep them interested long enough to help us finish off our first net CD. They are Dave McKaenzie and Chantalle Desrochers. Both should be starts in their own right and off promoting their own CD's. Having said that, we are very pleased they have come along on our ride... We finally picked a new name for the band that we could all agree on. We have been closely watching the current music scene as well as many of the other artists on MP3.com. And for the most part, you don't here the type of music that we grew up with anymore. We sort of said to ourselves, "Well, I guess that frequency has been lost". Thus our new name "Lost Frequency". It sure beats MAGS_(Canada). We hope you like it....

    Artist History
The original four of us just starting getting together on Thursday nights to jam. We slowly started to write music. And since we had access to a small but decent recording system, we started to record. We were having so much fun writing however, that we wrote for the sake of writing, and not for any particular voice in the band. Thus the reason for approaching our new vocalists. We are heavily influenced by music in the 70's and 80's. And our idea of "Old School" means write the music for the sake of the music. Make sure you will want to listen to it years from now. Do not write music to be popular for the "next five minutes" or so it can be part of the next trend or video. I think a lot of indie artists feel that way.
