It is not just a band or a statement, it is a state of mind in which inner satisfaction is reached through positive thought and standing for what one believes to be true. When a person can do that without being bothered by trivial matters and others' opinions then that person has found their self truth. Find Your Self Truth is a five piece band formed two years ago that combines old school speed beats with punishing breakdowns and melodic interludes. Building off staple hardcore influences such as Shai Hulud, Strongarm, Bane, and the Gorilla Biscuits, Find Your Self Truth set out to try to add something new to the scene. Find Your Self Truth are from Newport News, Virginia. They have played many local shows with bands like God Forbid, Sworn Enemy, Diecast, G.F.Y., Redline, Punishment, Clenched Fist, and Death Before Dishonor. They are currently working on a new CD and a small east coast tour with other bands from the area. Find Your Self Truth are a young and hungry band wanting to spread their message of truth and positivity to anyone and everyone who will listen at anytime, anywhere.
