Press Reviews WHO WERE THEY? They were erm, need i say more, anyone who's been into Rock music for more then ten years will know. For those who haven't lived, here is a slice of history. WHY SHOULD WE CARE? You should care because without then, there would be no Peterborough Rock scene today. erm influenced many Rock bands you know, by going against the current trends. erm's success included prestigious support slotd with such bands as international punks 'UK Subs' and nationally revered 'Valve' (ex Claytown Troupe). But don’t take our world for it, read on for a small taste of what the British music press said: "erm's recent Unhinged EP was labelled to aggressive for air play on Hereward Radio, but in these circles that's considered to be a compliment" – THE CITIZEN "How could they fail having won over Andy Cairns, lead singer with Irish act Therapy? As one of their fans" – Kevin Roberts – Kerrang! "Peterborough band erm are hard as f**k" – Splinter Magazine DIDN'T THEY GET SIGNED? Well sort of, after releasing three EP's on there own label, which generated interest from two majors, RCA and EG! erm secured financial backing with Such and Such Records, enabling them to commit their talent to CD and commence a UK promo tour. WHAT ARE THEY DOING NOW? Kev, Luke and Darren went on to form Urban Surf, but have now split up, Lee reformed The Dark, and Tony is now in fast rising Folk rock hero's Pooks Hill!!
