    Artist History
The Funnel Cakes are a semi-acoustic pop-rock band from Des Moines that is led by songwriter Dan Weddle (also occasionally a solo-acoustic performer). Rounding out the band is C.J. Matthews on bass and John Morgan (also of Cedar Rapids band Oblivious Minnow) on drums & percussion. The band has a definite pop-rock sound often built around acoustic guitar & percussion, although full-band electric songs are in the works. Two of the songs from this 3-song demo feature Jim Scharosch (bassist and vocalist of Oblivious Minnow) on backing vocals.
