Artist History Before I started USA One Stop, before "Radio Free Colorado", before the Music Fairs and the Booking Agency, basically before I completely wired the Colorado music scene, I was a songwriter. I came to Colorado from Nashville, where I tried to make it playing guitar and keyboards. But Nashville got the best of me, and I ended up moving west. In between my day jobs, girlfriends, raising kids, and promoting everyone else, I managed to crank out a few songs of my own. I grew up on the east coast, was a product of the 60's and 70's, when AM radio ruled. As a kid growing up I was surrounded by fantastic music. It was everywhere. My best friends dad was a DJ on WABC in New York. Elvis, the Beatles, and the Stones were just hitting their stride. People knew what a hookline and bridge were. After college, I applied to Berklee, got turned down, and wandered through my twenties trying to make sense out of a radically changing world. I studied classical piano at Vanderbilt. But mostly, I hustled. Every step of the way. Yet in the end, like so many other musicians, the industry ate me alive. My canvas spans over 20 years. Here, for the record, is a sampling of songs off my new project. These songs speak volumes about my life. Hence the name "Another Place In Time". It should be available as a full-length,10 song disc very soon. I just have a few loose ends to tidy up. Rock on.
