Artist History In one form or another, Hawthorne Heights, with their melodic punk meets hardcore/emo sound, have been making music for 2 years now. Forming in Dayton, OH in 2001 under the original name of A Day In The Life, they immediately set to work on recording and releasing a full-length on indie label Confined Records. Five member changes and one name change later and the band has still managed to do 5 national self-booked tours and has shared the stage with bands ranging from The Descendents, From Autumn To Ashes, Mae, Spitalfield, Poison The Well, As Friends Rust and Thursday.
