Blending the sounds of his roots based acoustic roadhouse sound with the slight groove of drum loops and Hip-hop beats to keep it together. Stay tuned for more. Mean while, Check out (Download) the New Single "Jamaican Rain" . In 1998 - Leap of Faith was the premiere full-length release from Tim Dolbear as a solo singer/songwriter. This album (released 1998) contains acoustic ballads, straight-ahead rock, with a bluesy to country appeal. Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, Indigo Girls and Lyle Lovett fans are an excellent example of Tim’s target audience. Night Moves Magazine described Tim’s music as “a little melodic, a little alternative and a lot UNLIKE what is getting stale today.” A wide variety of instruments were used to create the emotionally charged tone of leap of faith including, six and 12-string acoustic and electric guitars, bass, mandolin, electric fretless and up-right basses, dobro, dulcimer, piano, drums and African hand drums. Singles are “your little ache” and ‘Love walks away”. |
