Artist History
T MINUS ONE is a completely INDEPENDENT San Francisco Bay Area ALTERNATIVE band formed in the heavy metal shadows of Fremont. Two full-length albums, one split 7 inch, two independent South West tours, and 350 live shows later they find themselves continually playing the intense, influential, and energy-packed shows they are known for. T MINUS ONE has performed everywhere from Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View (for Live 105's BFD), to Sacramento Valley Amphitheater, to All Star Lanes in LA, to Jugheads in Phoenix. Over the past year TM1 was opening support for everyone from Incubus to Slipknot, to AFI and much, much more.
"Sloppy Seconds", T Minus One’s second release, has superceded their first album in radio play, sales, critical praise, and popularity. “Not Comin Home”, “All I Do”, and “Valentine” each charted high on college radio and has been added to stations worldwide. TM1's debut c.d. "Down to Earth" was the top local selling c.d. in ‘Zero Magazine’ for over 6 months. TM1 graced the cover of VAMP Magazine for the 1st issue of the millennium. WWW.TMINUSONE.COM receives over 8,000 hits per month, and is growing. With credits and the ability to self-record, self-promote, self-book, and self-manage, T MINUS ONE has shown that one band can do it all. It is no wonder why many artists look to TM1 for advice, help, and inspiration.
As their sound grows heavier, darker, and more intense from years of recording and performing, T MINUS ONE is becoming a seasoned, more focused band that knows what it wants and how to get it. Comprised of three very talented individuals, T Minus One’s passion, ambition, and determination is unwavering and has shown how any goal is achievable. TM1 is currently back in the studio recording yet another crunchy album. Look for it later this year.

Press Reviews
Fremont, CA. What can I say? It’s a boring ass city. I know I happen to live there. Nothing better to do, but sit around make great music. Just ask the band members of Fremont’s own T-Minus One. The proof is on their very indie release entitled Sloppy Seconds. Led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Andy Fields, T-Minus One is a band that deserves to be heard. Their sound? Think Everclear without the lyrics of child abuse and add the fuzz and distortion spirit of Hendrix. Save yourself from corporate bullshit rock. Pick this one up!

Artist Review: Sonic Youth Smashing Pumpkins in the street and it sounds rather like a great, modern punk band. –CD BABY.com
Hailing from the East Bay, T Minus One is young band that has matured in the shadow of metal but prefers punk in its spare time. With its second release the band sticks to this style, slightly more inclined towards the harder side than in the past. Songs such as “Not Coming Home” and “Weekly Resignation Letter” have got that arm-swingin', groovin' guitar approach. “Lunar Landing Conspiracy” and “She's All I Wanted” still have that crunchy guitar chug, but have a relaxed and still loud, in-your-face flow. The songs that stand out are the mid-pulsing rockers that have a head-bobbing cadence instead of a mosh pit invitation. “My Way” and “Angels” make headway into convincing the listener that even though the guitar is loud and distorted it doesn't have to swear allegiance to pillaging power chords. “All I Do” is probably the best song on the disc. T minus One appears to be dedicated to getting the full range of sounds in their songs that are available within the genus of post-hardcore punk. If this release is an indicator of success, T Minus One will continue to be victorious in doing so.

My band recently performed at Concord’s “Time Out Lounge”. 5 bands for 6 bucks. It was a no contest battle, the best band won. “T Minus One” ROCKS. If there is one band you need to see this year it is “T Minus One”. Their sound mixes a little of “Rival Schools” attitude, with music by “Hammerbox”, add a strong twist of “Love Battery” to the batch, and you’ve got yourself “T Minus One”, which blends melodic hard rock and catchy punk into their own innovative brand of rock and roll.
The band: Andy provides powerful riffs and soulful guitar a mix of “Dinosaur Jr”, an in-tune “Sonic Youth”, and the aforementioned “Love Battery”. Andy’s vocals scream “No Means No”, extremely powerful and clear which I prefer. Brad’s got the idea of bass down to a “T”, perfectly complimenting Joe on drums as well as Andy’s style. Altogether you’ve got a solid, high energy, rocket-fueled energetic and fresh band. Rock is NOT dead. Live Life! Go see “T Minus One” if it’s the last thing you do.

Groove-oriented rock starts out crashing and only gets heavier in the choruses. Simple, flanged-out progressions fall prey to dense, pummeling walls of the opening riff on ten meanwhile a vocalist layers in British-by-way-of-Newark, Calif., vocal styling. Catchy, stadium-worthy rock tailored for the FM dial. –Listen.com
