Musical Influences
I listen to an odd mixture including Kiss, Weezer, Everclear, Madonna, Queen, Aerosmith, Wallflowers, Counting Crows, Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, Terrance Trent Darby, George Michael, Cheap Trick, Dean Martin, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, AC/DC, action/drama orchestral movie scores from John Willians, James Horner, John Barry, Hans Zimmer, and Jerry Goldsmith, 50’s doo-wop, Vivaldi and other romantic classical composers whose names I couldn’t tell you if I tried but love the music just the same. |

Artist History
“In film music, with the help of samplers and digital computer-based recording, my musical instrument palette can be anything from an army of cellos, a full choir, to a frying pan! Any sound can be musical or appropriate in certain circumstances! It’s fun to experiment.”“My musical history? Well my first instrument was a set of drums at about 8 years old. I probably drove my parents nuts for the next 6 years but they were always extremely supportive! I moved on to saxophone, guitar, bass, piano, and studied voice as well.”“I played with many rock bands years ago including Attak in North Carolina, where I’m originally from, and Charlemagne here in Los Angeles through the 80’s and early 90’s. |
