Artist description
Pump'n Ethyl, originally known as Ethyl Merman,
was formed in 1993 by Turner Scott Van Blarcum
and Hendrix Burns Tolliver III. In 1997, prior
to their first CD release, they were forced to
change their name, by the Estate of Ethyl Merman,
to avoid the usual legal attack made by a surge
of greedy lawyers and parasites related to the
fantastic Ms. Merman. It is known that Ms. Merman
was a fan of the band via Psychic Friends
Network. After the mysterious abduction of the
original bassist and drummer, the aliens
surgically replaced them with the illegitimate
siblings of Bob Dole. A fanatical band on the
Texas Music Scene, voted messiest band in 1996
for trashing every venue played, and is on
restraining orders from the State of Arkansas
for molesting small domesticated farm animals. |

Turner Scott Van Blarcum:- Lead vocalist. Turner, formally a woman prior to the
addadictome, sang back-up during early rehearsals

after recovering from 3 years of depression,
(the Ginger Spice incident) Turner continues his
dream of one day standing in the shoes of Les
McKeown (Bay City Rollers).
Hendrix Burns Tolliver III - Lead guitar. Hank
was born in the back seat of a '63 Impala
convertible during a meteor shower. Learned
guitar at age 2, proclaimed prodigy by Castro and
by age 5, he was first chair in the Cuban
Nationalist Symphony. Currently head master of
the School for Wayward Pregnant Catholic Teens.
Mark Ehr - Bass. Mark has been in several
pornographic films that have been banned from
video due to poor image quality. He experienced a
mediocre rise to stardom in 1983 for a guest
appearance on Different Strokes. He denies any
ties to any militia uprising in the Safeway
Stores.
Mark Baker - Percussion. Mark joined the band in
1997. Currently masturbating to magazines found
in dental offices and subway terminals. He has
five convictions for indecent exposure at several
area rest homes and is an accomplished
