Artist History After many years as a guitarist on the Blues circuit, including a year with The Sam Taylor Band, four years as a founding member of Ann Arbor-based jump blues band Big Dave and the Ultrasonics, and a year with label-mates Al Hill and the Love Butlers, Farz took a break. Well, he's back with his first solo recording called Fresco Padre (Cool Papa), a collection of jazzy blues instrumentals. He's backed by the rhythm section of Al Hill and the Love Butlers, and world-famous harmonica wizard Peter "Madcat" Ruth can be be heard on a couple of tracks as well. The result is a groove-oriented, B3-infused group sound with plenty of blues guitar to keep things rockin'. Check it out...
