Artist History
In the late 80's, D*Time started under the name Dreamtime. Musical influences came from Punk and Wave and more experimental music. Also electronic music, from the early Tangerine Dream, the Klinik, Delerium and local heros (PSN, Genosha) had an impact on the music.Later on, the music evolved and became more dance-oriented/techno. On that point Dreamtime was transformed in D*Time and the music was distributed on 'Circles of Mania', by NEON (http://www.xs4all.nl/~neonrecs) in 1997. After this D*Time played in a variety of places (Groningen, Emmen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Berlin, Drachten) and get good reviews in a number of magazines.During the years, the music evolved to more Drum 'n' Bass and Electro. At this point D*Time is Drum 'n' Bass and Electro. The year 2000 or 2001 will bring another CD.Some other projects which D*Time is involved in are: Keltik, Psychedelic Trance. Samples on the 'Liquid' CD. Released in 2000 (info: http://www.xs4all.nl/~keltik) and Sync~Along, funky beats, electro (http://listen.to.syncalong). |

Press Reviews
We can't sit still and we're bouncingin every direction on this polished, Drum 'n' Bass /It is electronic but certainly no 'new-age-muzak'.It is a sort of ambient-house with a trip-hop feeling. Sometimes it reminds also of 'Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' by David Byrne and Bryan Eno (1980).D*Time makes spacey ambienttechno which is sometimes related to Eat Static. |
