Artist description Metal Militia, a Ft. Lauderdale, FL based Heavy Metal Band is not what you might consider your average band. Formed in 1999, when the average age of the band was 13 to 16 years old and beginning their musical careers at Mars Music Learning Center with instructors Damien Lee Thorr and Doug Dawtyler. It was clear early on that these four young men had unique musical talent. Their lightning speed guitar riffs, furious drum beats and intense stage show bring their audience to their feet and have catapulted the band to the forefront of the music scene.
