Artist description
How can something so brutal be so melodic at the same time? From Hell blends fast, driving, mean punk rock with dark melodies that remind you of that pretty goth girl in your 10th grade math class. This is truly music of the underground in a scene whose "alternative" is even dominated by insincerity, egos, and rampant commercialism. From Hell offers an alternative for those who see the system for what it is and want to scream it.
From Hell as a musical unit was spawned within the rotted bowels of this diseased society . Thier politically charged lyrics hint at a militant stance against the status quo and are proof that we don't have to accept our own demise at the hands of those who would oppress, exploit, and market our passions back to us for a profit. That even if we are born and raised within this "hell", we don't have to perpetuate it, even if we are deemed damned by those who see it as a threat. The music is angry, but it comes from love. It could be described by those who don't understand as violent. But it is justified. Created in shadows, touching our most natural instincts... this is the sound of revolution. |

Artist History
Raised on metal, punk, comic books, and skateboarding, these 5 individuals have been playing in bands for several years now. Although coming from different backgrounds, they have joined creative forces in this project. From Hell has risen from the ashes of Rochester NY hardcore heroes, Standfast and Break of Dawn, and was solidified by the addition of members of local pop-punk favorites, Deltaforce 23 and Arms Length. From Hell has recently emerged from the dark, cobwebbed filled basement they've been jamming and plotting in(and yes,187 is the police code for murder), and will be releasing thier first 5 song mini-cd this february. |
