Artist description
compose mostly epic material, all instrumental, where the sounds and melodies are telling some kind of story. I've always (as long as I've been creating music) wanted to write soundtracks to motion pictures... However, sometimes I slip into funk mode, where I let the rythm boil into my body, oozing out of my fingers and into the instruments... If you get a clear picture of something otherworldly or just plain colourful in your head, or if your body starts twitching to the beats when you listen to my stuff, send me an e-mail and you'll make my day! |

Artist History
It all started in 1986. Or, if you think more metaphysically at it, in 1967, but that's quite another story. Music has always had a great power over me, and once I got my hands on an electronic piece of instrument that gave me the capability of creating all sorts of moods and aural colours I was totally stuck! Starting out with a KORG Poly-800, adding a simple drum machine, then a four-track tape recorder, then moving on to velocity- and pressure sensitive keyboards, samplers, computers, physical modelling and heck knows what kind of conceptual monsters that live in my studio these days! Somewhere along the way I got the chance of writing a few songs for a film project, and the film was even played at the Gothenburg Short Film Festival in the mid nineties! As I unfortunately had to compose those songs without seeing the finished images, I wasn't quite satisfied with the result. Next time, though... |
