Artist description
Formed in December 2001, Texas Hold'em are the latest band
to be breaking fast into the punk scene. Blending a mix of melodic
punk and emo with horns, the songs are powerful and memorable.
In this first year they have made their debut on TV, played the LA2 (Mean Fiddler)
and reached the finals of a Columbia sponsored battle of the bands. Comparisons
have been made to bands like: Saves the Day, NFG and even Weezer, but through varied
music tastes they feel they have built a sound of their own.
Taking their name from the famous poker game, Texas Hold'ems infectious sound is packed
full of energy and has created a buzz that's going to take them far.... |
