Two brothers from Middle America’s college town, Kalamazoo, Michigan, these producers bring a freshness to electronic music. With unique stylistic combinations of old and new, Paladin & Warsong are a lifeboat that shows there is hope for the struggling electronic scene. Where the rest are drowning in the wake of commercial shipwreck, these two are building an ark and heading for Mt. Ararat. “Our music isn’t limited by desire to produce a certain style. We grew up with our parents’ folk and rock records and dad playing the guitar while he and mom sang to us. Our love for music comes from that and it’s grown to include every style from ancient times to present. We can never hear enough. Actually, our studio space is taken up more by shelves of vinyl, CD’s, and tapes than by our gear. We always have to move a crate of records or a stack of CD’s so we can get to the equipment.
