Artist History
Founded 1998 by Camara and Trotter. We've been through about six drummers and five vocalists over this time period. Most just flaked out on us, we had no desire to lose them. Our hometown is Fallon, NV and country or covers is the way to go here. We don't do that so it's been rough. We just did a CD in a studio in Reno (completed in August 2002). We're semi-pleased with it but are a much better band since acquiring new drummer, Ketten. We have enough stuff now to do another disc and that is being discussed. Currently we're trying to break into the Reno music scene and are finding this none too easy. But we'll be around and rockin' for some time to come so keep your ears pricked. Check out or website at www.dourdeeds.dreamstation.com. Rock on! As of August 2003 Covert Operation is now sadly defunct. We gave it a shot and had a bit of fun but artistic directions have taken separate paths. I, Trotter, would have liked to do another disk (and do it right this time) but it was apparently not to be. We had some pretty interesting and different sounding stuff. Comments on our music are still welcome. |
