Artist History
Originally from Florida Carl was first exposed to the idea of performing at age six by a great uncle who was a classically trained, concert pianist. Piano and voice lessons soon followed with Carl entering various local and regional talent competitions throughout his adolescent and high school years. Upon moving to Kentucky in the early eighties Carl's keyboard and vocal talents began to catch and draw the attention of many in the local music community. With a love for all kinds of music Carl began to play and tour with several top 40, R & B, rock, and country bands throughout the region. A songwriter at heart Carl then began to write and perform his own compositions which has allowed him to share the stage with such well known artists as Steve Wairner, Reba McEntire, Turley Richards, Louise Mandrel, and John Anderson. Carl has also recorded with Grammy Award winner, the late Lynn Peterzel whose enginering credits include Clint Black, and the remake of the "Eagles Greatest Hits," album. |
