Artist description
Warehouse I is not so much a band as it is a club
of musicians who have "real" jobs, yet still get
together to explore the compositional combinations
of their various and sundry musical tastes. |

Artist History
Warehouse I began around 1992 as a couple of bands
who, owing to their starving-student status, had
to share a rehearsal space in order to afford the
rent. Due to several members' inability to meet
a regular practice schedule, as well as the ever
varying who's pissed of at whoms and the tendency
for "that song's gay" attitudes to crop up, this
situation quickly devolved into a scene where it
was difficult to predict exactly what the line up
would be on any given night. And though we have
all pretty much retained the stylistic preferences
we went in with, the freedom to jam and record
outside of our accustomed genres is probably
what's most responsible for keeping the music
flowing for better than a decade. |
