Artist History
Polar is a "melodic hardcore" band out of San Jose. We attend Crossroads Bible Church in San Jose - the same place the five of us formed polar in 1998. We have played a variety of places, including local churches and clubs throughout San Jose, Milpitas, Redwood City, Morgan Hill. We have also played with a number of local bands.
We are a ministry minded band and we feel that music is a great way to open the doors to share the gospel of Christ with the youth of today.
Our main goal is to tell everyone about our Savior and His love for us through proclaiming the Gospel of Hope that we've been called to. We find the best way to do this is through our lyrics and our lives. Not only are we committed to an entertaining show with good music, but we are committed to relationally connecting with the people in the audience. We also hope we can encourage believers to grow in their faith through the lyrics we sing and testimonies we share.
Psalm 145:4 describes best what we are trying to do, "One generation shall praise Thy works to another, And shall declare Thy mighty acts."
Our goal as ministers of Christ is to be used by God, for His glory, in the gifts that He has given us, by continually bringing a focus on Christ through the music we play and the lyrics we sing. We also make a point to share the message of the Gospel of Christ at every show we play. |
