Music Style "Traditional Country"

Artist History Larry Bisbee is a former radio broadcaster who has developed the Countryfolk Music Theatre in Maine for the purpose of offering new and seasoned musicians and songwriters a venue for their works. He has been writing poetry, stories and songs for many years. He has been an actor with communtiy theatre, professional theatre and performed in the movie, "Stargate" with Kurt Russell in 1993. He's a former YMCA director and radio disc jockey. He has now chosen to spend his time and energy providing assistance to new and seasoned songwriters and musicians. He also has recorded his first CD entitled, "Country Kissin", with five stories of Maine and five original songs performed by "Nickels & Dimes Duo", Jim Littlefield and Margaret Arsenault. He also works with songwriters Randy Pinkham,Dale Davis and "The Shadowcasters", all in Maine. Larry says that Maine country musicians/songwriters are highly regarded within the state. His goals include assisting them with world-wide recognition.

Group Members Countryfolk Music Theatre is represented by more than Larry Bisbee. Currently eight-two musicians and songwriters gather in the summer to perform, network, jam together and utilize the rustic Countryfolk Music Theatre as a production/promotion entity to assist them in their musical dreams. Countryfolk Music Theatre is truly about the music. It's concept is unique and is most likely the only such operation of its kind underway in the United States at this time.
