Artist History October 2000 a great band was born... this is not that band. As one of the founding members of Invincible Youth, I did a lot of writing... a dozen or so songs that we played fairly regularly, and another three dozen that it seemed we were always going to get around to recording... but never did. I had considered recording them myself, but the needs and wants of the band came first. Then one day I woke up and realized I didn't have a band anymore... well, ok, it happens... a sign, maybe, or at least an opportunity to take some time to go back thru the catalogue and record some of the songs that had been wantin' doing. After 6 hours of taping and 10 hours goofing off over Thanksgiving break 2002 I finally had twenty or so tracks (all of the songs on that ended up on Afterglow and several that were carried over to Valentine's). And thus was born the GREAT semi-quasi-accidental solo project.
