Artist History
The Tracy Steele Band
The members of The Tracy Steele Band have built on their musical roots and individual interests to form a style which is truly their own. Their act includes covers of many of music's most popular artists including Santana, Eric Clapton and Van Morrison; blues artists ranging from Ray Charles to B.B. King; and today's current acts such as Counting Crows and the Gin Blossoms. The band has a well deserved reputation for playing to the interests of their audience. Instrumentation includes: Acoustic/Electric guitars, mandolin, harmonica, keyboards, vocals - Michael Tracy; Acoustic/Electric guitar, vocals - John Steele; Bass guitar - Tom Whyte; Drums, vocals - Louis Degregorio; Flute, horns, keyboards – Mark Kromich
Since forming in September of 1991, the Tracy Steele Band has performed throughout Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, appearing at the O’Hara’s in Hollywood and extended engagements at Coconuts in Ft. Lauderdale, Shuckers on Miami Beach.
