    Artist History
2 years ago (2000 for our moronic readers) Greg Harris, Danny Finger, Michael Ross and Matt Singleton got together to jam forming what would later become "The Friendly Neighborhood Vandals". Matt couldn't devote all of his attention to FNV because he was in a more notable band "Fokus" consisting of Kj Ricasata and Chris Dehaven(Of WaBaJaKaDaC) and Tom/Aaron Nickle.Needless to say this venture was a learning experience. Well by now it was Feb. of 2001, Danny had split ways with FNV making Matt the lead singer, and FNV played there first show at the AHS "Really Big Thing", The Line up was Matt, Mark, Mike and Greg. The Summer following they played no shows, barely jammed, and it seemed FNV was doomed.Towards the end of the summer they heard sweet little somthings of an AHS battle of the bands to take place right at the beg ining of the school year, so they scraped together what material they could and played their little hearts out. Not winning, but playing well none the less. They continued to play as a trio until April or May where they attained Mark Irwin again, and started their mini horn section. Throughout their senior year 2001-2002, they played several shows, playing anywhere from churches to basement gigs, to Alley Katz and Three Chopt. Sports Grill. They even appeared in "Punchline Magazine". Well, the end of the school year came and so did summer. Not very many shows were played in the summer of 2002, and so as the summer came to an end, we bid Adeu to our beloved bassist and sexual Icon Greg, for he was off to a magical land known as college; However, replacements were not far as we recruited Noah Weiss and Curtis Liddicoat(both from Cold Eddie) Tommy Harris and Kevin Coyle as the new horn section. They are set to take the satge as the new FNV line up is complete, Sure it's not the same but it's still pretty damn cool. Long Live SKA!!
