Artist History The band was founded in 2000 and had a lot of line-up changes since that time. At last only two members from the initial line-up remained. The Mist had one gig in 2000 in Alt Kemanci/Taksim/Turkey with Frekans, Abraxas and Sapik Inek. After this event Alper joined the band as the bass player. Currently a drummer (ercan) and a guitarist (cagatay) are assisting the band as session players.

Group Members Bora Ergin: One of the initial members, he lives in his home at Kucukyali, Istanbul. As a former Sepultura and Slayer fan he developed quite many skills as a rhytim guitarist and contributed to the making of the music in many ways. Baris Gokcer Akbay: One of the initial members, a former member of an old Turkish black metal band "Thiela". He is currently concentrating on developing his lead guitar and vocal skills as well as violin playing. He lives in Kucukyali/Istanbul, too. Alper Baybora: The big and great bass player of the band, although not having experience with another band his steady rhytim feeling and exceptional lyrics are a real contribution to the music of The Mist. Lives in Erenkoy/Istanbul. Ercan Burge: An experienced drummer having played in "Thiela", "Pagan" and "Polarized", he contributes to the band with stunning drum and art work.
