Artist description
Tarmak is a 5-piece band based in New Haven, CT.
They combine downbeat/trip-hop beats with haunting
female vocal harmonies all played by a live drummer, stand up
bass player, and guitarist/keyboardist. Tarmak keeps the sound as slow and
mechanical as a wind-up toy, a little bit spooky, a teasing nip funky,
layered with extreme textures of mood. The music has a hook, line and
sinker quality that can accompany the listener into sleep, love and death. |
