Artist description Slight Tourist is a mix-match of musical and dynamic contradictions. The songs have texture and mood. They are both isolated and part of each of us in some way. They represent release, frustration, loss and the ideal of furthering one's self mentaly and spititually. They have heart and soul, something I believe is absent from most modern music.

Artist History Slight Tourist was realized in 2000 by Chris McBane who had recently moved to the Tacoma, WA area from CA. Having left behind the other band he was in, he needed an artistic way to express himself. A seed was planted and either beautiful or horrible, Slight Tourist grew and took shape.
