Artist History
Kentucky born and bred. I've had the good fortune to work with some really major musicians and I've opened for many many major acts. I learned more from Smokey Wilson than anyone I've encountered. He is the real deal. He is also the loudest guitar player I have ever encountered. So loud, all I could here was a buzzing sound. But damn can he play the blues.
I toured with Big Bill Morganfield and had a killer time makin some heavy blues with the man.I'm in the middle of my solo CD, "Trouble" which I'll be posting each track as I get them ready for consumption. I've always been a fan of the blues. I started out on dobro so it stands to reason I play a lot of slide on stage. I'd rather play slow blues than eat.
