Musical Influences The Beatles, Crowded House, The Eagles

Artist History Formed in 1991, after leaving school, Chris joined 1992 and Dom last year. The band have continuously played at various venues throughout Europe, to reveiws, recently they decided to try and get recognition as a recording band. Rise Music passed their demo on to Acuff Rose Music and with a lot of work and advice on the writing side of theri work, they now have a selection of sogns to rival any singer songwiriter out there. They are excellent live and their vocal harmonies are faultless. With influences like The Beatles, Crowded House, THe Eagles etc, they aim high and are now getting interest that should secure a deal in the near future. This has been helped by securing a publishing deal with Acuff-Rose Misic (Sony Music) who can see the potential in the band's songwriting ability. With the current interest in bands such as 'Travis' and artists like David Gray, The Coustiks are well worth a serious listen by all A&R departments looking for a long term investment meaning lots of great songs and the talent to perform live.
