Artist History Fronted by Steve Wingerter, Poor Iris formed in 2000 and their first release, "Pawn Shop Life", hit the streets in April of 2002. The CD is a collection of old and new songs which provides listeners a good representation of Steve's writing style. In June of 2002, Steve Wingerter (with Poor Iris) released the single "Be There" as a follow up to the debut album. The single features two versions of the song, a driving rock mix and an acoustic arrangement complete with a violin section.
