Artist History
In 1995 I started a band called Product, we were a thrash/punk band. I played guitar. In 1997 we decided to change "format", so with a slight change in cast, our name became Dead Beat Society and started to play black/death metal, myself playing guitar and singing. The neat thing about DBS was that we had the fastest double bassist (drums) in all of San Diego, and 2 guitarists/vocalists, myself and a longtime friend Mark. For several years, we played and recorded near 150 songs. All ranging from 7 seconds to 56 minutes. Then in 2001 tragedy struck when Mark was hit with a car by one of our great enemies. His left hip was shattered, shoulder popped and cracked, and arm damn near completely obliterated. With all of this, he is sadly unable top play guitar ever again. He chose to quit the band and we stopped playing for several months. Finaly we got back together (-Mark) to lay down some new music. We then decided to change our name to Disembowel and play goremetal, which was an experiance. During summer of 2002, several of the members moved out of San Diego, leaving the band all to me.
