Artist description
Three years ago, former members of Uncle Remus and Modern Logic combined to create an explosion of full-contact rhythm-powered pop. Songwriter, and veteran Charlottesville musician Gary Hawthorne (Modern Logic, Yesterday's Boy, Wnrn's The Localmotive) sings and commands jazz-on-overdrive guitar over the dynamic rhythm section of Jason Ward (Blind Ambition, Uncle Remus) and master surrealist bass player, Eric Yates. CowGoMoo's ambition combines with savage talent as they prepare for their first studio recording Picture This. Live performances feature songs from this recording, new original songs, and as always, new interpretations of some favorite cover tunes, from James Taylor to Pink Floyd. "Love songs and passion plays… Full contact power pop from guitar, bass and drums. "Passion and patience from a whisper to a scream, not too heavy, not too sweet." --Credo, CowGoMoo. |
