Artist description T.O.E. is a unique band that combines ambient sounds and electronic music with lush vocals, to produce beautiful ballads. The band consists of Paulina Caine – the lead vocalists and lyricist, and Satori – the composer who also produces the music. Both of them have an extensive musical experience behind them, and it was their passion for making music with a message, that brought them together to write and perform as a band.

Artist History The group originally got together in 1999 under the name of FLAME, and started out as a pop/dance oriented outfit. This collaboration landed the group various radio and television appearances. Some of the songs were selected to appear on Australia Music Marketing Abroad organisation’s promotional materials that were sent out to Europe and America, generating interests in countries such as UK and Holland. This has helped to spread the band’s music outside Australia and to create an audience around the world. This is in addition to their number one status on various Internet music sites. Their early songs are still being played on numerous radio stations around Australia including the ABC, Synergy Radio, SBS, 89.7FM. However, given Paulina and Satori’s musical passion for the early songs and ambient music, they decided to change the direction from the saturated dance music market to their current project –T.O.E. One of the main things that the group achieved through its change of musical direction is reflection of true and pure human emotions in their songs. The new style provides a perfect medium to translate everyday common emotions into sound- from sadness to happiness, from despair to elation, from pressure to the total release of emotions. The band hopes it will strike a chord with its current audience and also enchant a whole new range of listeners, which would provide the base for the success of their ambient/electronic project...
