Artist History
Phil Royle - guitars, vocals and mixing
Phil has been on the road almost constantly for the last 2 decades, racking up the miles and gigs throughout eastern Australia and New Zealand. Melbourne brought him into contact with the older generation of piano tuners who took him under their wing and taught him the techniques and secrets of the trade. Eventually escaping the city life, he now resides on the shipwreck coast and continues to tour the country, cheered on by supporters from an astounding variety of lifestyles.
Leonie Lattin - keyboards, piano accordian and vocals
Regular visits to Mount Gambier, South Australia brought Phil into contact with Leonie in 1997, producing a definite swing to the country feel in the live show, culminating in a electric partnership onstage from 2000 onwards. Leonie started on piano accordian age 6 and was musically raised on the kind of shows only seen in outback Australia. Over the years, Leonie has often been accompanied onstage by relatives and family ! |
